WW Kane is an exceptionally well bred boy from some of the best Hanoverian and Oldenburg lines. He has presence and style, good conformation and lovely movement, combined with a down to earth, sweet, lovable nature. The perfect combination for breeding performance horses.

Kane is currently enjoying the simple life, living in a large paddock, in harmony with his breeding mares, some of our pregnant mares and one of our resident geldings.

He has a sound natural horsemanship groundwork education and was lightly started under saddle in late 2010. Kane has proven himself to be a quick and willing learner both on the ground and under saddle and shows much potential.

WW Kane stood his introductory stud season in 2011. His first foal was born on the 6th of January 2012 and can be viewed on our Foals Page.

Kane is lightly started under saddle December 2010. GREEN! Had about 20-30 Rides, In paddock + on trail and all in a rope halter or lightrider bitless bridle. He's been ridden out alone or with my clydie mare.

PNH trained, Has been long reined (bitless), stands on tarp and podium, begun trick training. Can "kiss", "hug" and is learning "take it" (with my cap). Will make EXCELLENT riding or trick horse or keep entire for part Wb performance foals.

Very sweet LBE/LBI boy. Not for beginner horseman as he has huge personality and likes to play games like "lets see what my human does if i do this.." or more often, "lets see what my human does if i do NOTHING or ignore them" but no "nasty" in him at all. He likes to steal things, everything goes in his mouth (ropes, halters, hats, fingers, brushes, anything u leave lying around). Highly respectful of electric fences. Has teased mares over post/rail. I dont think he knows he can jump even though hes huge. He knows about personal space and doesn't push on you unless invited, soft online and is a HUGE softie, loves attention and hugs!

We were training him up last year with long term goal of using him as long distance treckking horse. Has been ridden in saddle packs etc strings and things hanging all over him no worries. He is easy to handle on the ground, would need more ground training around mares or to hand serve if he was to remain entire. Easy paddock serve and is good with mares in paddock and plays with the foals over the fence. we used him to wean my yearling colt this year and they are so cute together.

This is a very sad sale as we genuinely love this boy. Would happily keep him ourselves as riding gelding but after losing our yearling colt Scamp during gelding late last year, we simply cant go through that again so soon with Kan-o and we just dont have the facilities to keep two mature stallions on the property at this time.

Kane deserves to be with someone who has time to invest in a special relationship with him. He has so much potential and so much to give!
