Our beloved Paragon was born at roughly 7:00am on Tuesday the 9th of November 2010. Copious amounts of credit have to be given to the amazing Ruby, and of cause, the fabulous Paladin, for producing such a top quality foal.

Devastatingly, on the 16th November 2010, at only 7 days old, we lost Paragon to a brown snake bite.

He was the most incredible foal. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer colt if we tried. Bred in the blue with conformation and movement to die for. To top it off, he had the perfect temperament, such a character, very much his own person and the biggest sticky beak and sweet heart ever, calling to us each day and meeting us at the fence for pats and hugs.

Ruby was justly proud of herself. She made it rather obvious that she thought she'd done a splendid job and was a very happy, loving, first time Mum who loved having everyone cluck and coo over her boy and tell her what a clever girl she is. Fortunately, Ruby has handled the loss of her stunning young man as well as can be expected.
